New Simard NSS evo3 Multi-Function Display: Easier to Read, Easier to Use

The new Simrad NSS evo3 multi-function display has a lot going for it. It’s easier to read, it’s easier to navigate and it’s easier to use. It also combines a lot of features all in one unit to make cruising easier and safer.

The brilliant landscape on the new widescreen SolarMAX HD display shows true colors, and the display is clear in the sun and easy to read even at a wide angle. The clarity is exceptional. You control it via the all-weather touchscreen or the expanded keypad, so that you have reliable control in all sea conditions. You can switch seamlessly between the multi-touch screen and the full keypad with rotary dial whenever you want.

If you’re looking for fish, you have a good chance of finding them with Simrad’s Forward Scan and dual-channel CHIRP sonar. The unit’s built-in GoFree Wi-Fi lets you connect with Navico’s GoFree charting, so you can create social maps or private charts; it also enables smartphone and tablet monitoring. The Simrad NSS evo3 also has Sirius weather, radar, and StructureScan 3D imaging. And trip-planning is easy with its TripIntel technology.

Prices for NSS evo3 range from $1,299 for a 7-inch display up to $5,499 for a 16-inch display, pictured above. For more:  http://simrad-yachting.com
