The Barton & Gray Mariners Club, the organization that gives members the use of a beautiful Hinckley yacht with a captain in 20 upscale boating destinations along the East Coast and the Great Lakes, is opening a new facility in Washington, D.C. The new club, opening June 1, will be at The Wharf, the recently renovated waterfront development in Southwest Washington.

The theory behind the club is to give members all the fun of yachting without the hassles of ownership. Membership is in four tiers, starting at $29,500 a year, and gives members access to a fleet of 30 Hinckleys, from Nantucket down to Miami on the East Coast plus Chicago and Harbor Springs, Michigan. The boats come with a captain, and you can use them for entertaining, day cruises, clam bakes, special events, whatever you have in mind. And when the cruise is over, you walk away without any of the worries about upkeep or maintenance that go along with owning a boat.

The Barton & Gray fleet includes Hinckleys ranging from the iconic 36-foot Picnic Boat up to Talaria 44s. They all have jet drives, which provide safety if you want to engage in water sports, plus the ability to navigate in shallow waters for visiting beaches or islands. Read more:
