MarineMax Vacations is expanding its power charter fleet to the Bahamas, in a partnership with Navigare Yachting. The fleet will start with a two-cabin Aquila 362 power cat and a three-cabin Aquila 443 power cat at Marsh Harbor in the Abacos, starting Dec. 1.

Under the partnership, Navigare Yachting will operate MarineMax Vacations in the Bahamas. Raul Bermudez, VP of MarineMax Vacations, said that Navigare Yachting was a world leader for charter vacations. “Our shared vision to create an exceptional vacation experience is key with our mutual passion for unmatched guest service, yacht maintenance, and expert delivery,” he said.

Although the power charter fleet will start with the two cats, it is scheduled to expand to more than 20 boats by the end of 2021.

The Aquila 443 (pictured at top) is powered by twin 260-hp Volvo diesels, and has accommodations for six to eight guests in three cabins with three heads. It has an oversized flybridge with direct access to the bow to make anchoring and line handling easy. The salon and galley offer windows all around, and the cat has a full-beam master stateroom with an office area.

The Aquila 362 (pictured above) is powered by twin 250-hp Mercury Verado outboards, and has accommodations for four guests in two cabins with two heads. It has wide glass doors that separate the salon from the cockpit, and it offers a fast and stable ride with the twin outboards. You can cruise comfortably with an air conditioner, genset, Raymarine chartplotter, auto  pilot, electric fridge, electric burner, and Kenyon electric grill. Read more:
