The aggressively styled, low-profile, outboard-powered Saxdor 270 GTO, built in Finland, is now for sale in the U.S. through the massive MarineMax dealer network.
With its almost vertical bow, glass see-through transom, and drop-down wings on both sides of the aft deck, the new, trailerable Saxdor is a super-modern Scandinavian platform that will turn heads on either side of the Atlantic. It has a two-step, deep-V hull, with a 20-degree deadrise aft, and power up to twin 300-hp outboards. Cruising speed is 45 knots.
The Saxdor 270 can hold seven people for daytime cruising and entertaining, and it has a two-person berth below for an occasional overnight. There’s also a toilet and sink.
Up top, the Saxdor has two seats forward, with the helm on the starboard side, and then a row of three more bucket seats a bit aft. The co-pilot’s seat forward on the port side swivels aft to face a folding table and the three aft seats.
Then there’s a bar and electric cooktop module for entertaining, with a large sun pad all the way aft. There’s another sun pad on the foredeck.
The new Saxdor has an asymmetrical design, with access to the foredeck on the port side. A sleek hardtop provides some protection from the elements overhead, while a standard bow thruster helps with docking.
