The new 55-foot Mirrari, designed by Timur Bozca, is pushing the envelope a bit. Mirrari is a new brand, and its first boat is now under construction at the Enata Group yard outside Dubai. The new Mirrari, among other things, is marked by a high-tech glass dome over the salon that was inspired by the bone structure of birds.
The Enata Group is an international composites manufacturer focusing on sustainable solutions for the aerospace and yachting industries. It made a splash in the international yachting community when it launched the revolutionary 32-foot Foiler Vaduz last year.
With four retractable hydrofoils, the Foiler flew five feet above the surface of the water, achieving a top speed of 40 knots with a comfortable, fuel-efficient ride. The Foiler was designed by Bozca, who has offices in Italy, Turkey and the UAE, and who has won many international design awards.
The new Mirrari builds on that experience. It is being built with carbon fiber, titanium and Kevlar for strength and light weight. It also uses Enata’s proprietary Wingman software system that enables remote control of many of the yacht’s systems, providing over-the-air diagnostics and upgrades.
The yacht has a plumb bow, a sleek, low, aerodynamic profile, and large glazed cutouts in the hull to provide light to the lower deck. There are the normal sun pads on the bow, and a large aft-facing sun pad over the transom. The aft deck is a social center, with a bar, grill and al fresco dining area.
The glass-domed salon is bathed in natural light, and offers visibility all around. Below, the two full-beam cabins have vibrant colors and a contemporary design.
We don’t have any other details on the new Mirrari.
