Bering is on a roll. It launched one new long-range B80 explorer yacht at the end of May at its yard in Antalya, Turkey; a second one on June 3, and a third one is due at the end of the week.
Alexei Mikhailov, Bering’s founder, said simply that the B80 “is becoming one of our most popular models.”
The B80 has a steel displacement hull and an aluminum superstructure. Power comes from twin 350-hp Cummins diesels, producing a top speed of 10.5 knots and a range of more than 5,000 nm at 8.5 knots. It holds a massive 10,502 gallons of fuel.
It’s made for comfort and entertaining on board, with four guest cabins on the lower deck that can sleep ten people, plus crew quarters with a head and a crew mess that are fitted with the same materials as the guest cabins. The master stateroom is on the main deck, along with the salon, the main galley and a dining area with a table that seats ten.
The classic interior uses natural materials, including wood and marble, and a neutral palette for a calm and spacious vibe.
Aft, another large dining table is in the cockpit, plus a pop-up TV that can be rotated for al fresco movie nights. The upper deck houses the captain’s quarters and pilothouse, while the skylounge is fitted out with a gym, spa and lounge. The foredeck is virtually covered by a giant sun pad.
