Beneteau just announced that it’s signed a 100 million Euros contract with Le Boat to supply it with a fleet of 400 new Delphia boats for its international boat rental fleet over the next ten years.

Both companies said they wanted to expand their business in North America; Le Boat, which claims to be the largest boat rental company in Europe, already has an active boat rental and ownership program in Canada. Delphia is a Beneteau Group brand in Poland that makes river-cruising boats.

The announcement said that Delphia will deliver 100 new boats to Le Boat in the next three years. They will be a combination of the current Horizon models, plus 34 new one-or-two-cabin Liberty models; the Liberty models will be launched next year.

The two companies will also develop a new three-or-four-cabin model for launch in 2027, that will be offered in both private and charter versions, with Le Boat being the exclusive charter partner.

Eric Stromberg, the VP of power boats for Group Beneteau, said “This next step continues the supply of Horizon models, as well as a new co-developed boat to support Le Boat’s charter business and boat ownership program.”

Le Boat’s ownership program provides owners with a guaranteed income while giving them an average of eight weeks a year of cruising time on their own boat or a sister boat across the company’s 17 cruising regions. Le Boat says the program has grown 300 percent since it was started with the Horizon fleet in 2016.

Cheryl Brown, Le Boats managing director, said the partnership with Beneteau “will allow us to continue developing high-quality river cruisers which our customers will love and enable us both to expand into North America.”
