On Wednesday, Hinckley Yachts of Portsmouth, Rhode Island announced that it had finalized the acquisition of the Bay Bridge Marina on Kent Island, Stevensville, Maryland. The deep-water marina and marine facilities lie at the epicenter of the Chesapeake Bay’s yachting region.
“Bay Bridge Marina is a wonderful location that allows us to offer our customers the best possible experience on the Chesapeake,” said Gavin McClintock, CEO of Hinckley. “This is an exciting step in strengthening our service network while also providing a world-class marina destination for discerning yachtsmen.”
The new marina, which is well established and respected throughout The Chesapeake, adds another vital link to Hinckley’s chain of service centers and marinas from Southwest Harbor, Maine all the way down the East coast to Stuart, Florida. Hinckley owners, both power and sail, can now cruise the coast safe in the knowledge their premium brand yachts are never far from one of the brand’s bases.
Hinckley plans to expand the heated indoor storage facilities and will work with the local team to create an environment for service and customer relations that is second to none. Service is an important element of the Hinckley franchise and the purchase of the Bay Bridge Marine underscores that commitment.
Hinckley’s other service facilities and marina are in Southwest Harbor, Maine, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Stamford, Connecticut, Annapolis, Maryland, Easton, Maryland, Savannah, Georgia and Stuart, Florida. Hinckley also has service factilites and marinas in the Great Lakes and along the West Coast.
