The new Sirena 58 Coupe will make its world debut at the Miami Yacht Show, starting Feb. 13. The latest entry from the high-end Turkish builder, the 58 Coupe is the little sister to the 58 Flybridge that is the most successful yacht in Sirena’s lineup.
The Coupe was designed for the American market. Sirena says that many potential buyers said they wanted an express style yacht, so they could fit under Florida’s many bridges or cruise easily around the Great Loop.
Still, the Coupe, designed by Germán Frers, has all the style and performance that distinguished the original flybridge version. “This is a Category A, bona fide explorer yacht carrying Sirena’s unmistakable DNA,” says Constantinos Constantinou, head of Sirena, North America.
The Coupe has Sirena’s trademark plumb bow and modest freeboard, with the company’s wraparound windows in the salon. Frers’ hull is slippery and efficient. Powered by standard twin 650-hp Cat diesels, the 58 Coupe tops out at 27 knots and has a range of more than 850 nm at 10 knots. Optional 850-hp Cats boost the top speed to 30 knots.
The boat is all one level from the transom to the helm. The aft deck has an aft bench seat, with an elegant table, centered across the transom. A walkway on each side leads to the teak swim platform. Moving forward, the entry doors to the salon were reengineered, since the Coupe doesn’t have any stairs leading to the flybridge. As a result, four panel doors open completely to join the indoor and outdoor spaces of the boat.
In the salon, the galley is aft, using the entire beam of the boat. It has additional countertop space and a fridge and freezer set underneath. The salon is filled with light from the side and front windows, plus two optional sliding sunroofs. A large seating area is on the port side, as is the helm. Stairs leading to the accommodation deck below are to starboard.
Sirena offers several possible layouts below, with three staterooms and three en suite heads and showers. In the standard layout, the master is full beam amidships, with a centerline berth and lots of walking around and lounging space. The VIP stateroom is in the bow, and a guest cabin with two berths is on the port side.
The foredeck serves as an additional social area. It has a settee for three people plus a large sun lounge forward.
