Update from The Moorings

As a leading member of the travel community we feel it is our responsibility to report on the global event currently unfolding accurately, and in a timely manner to help our guests make informed travel decisions. There is certainly no shortage of information available on COVID-19, but we invite you to visit our revised Travel Advisory page for the latest updates on how the Coronavirus outbreak is affecting each of our charter destinations, and our up-to-date policies for each.

Please note: These advisories are for US customers only. Please visit our AustraliaUnited Kingdom  or South Africa websites for the latest advice for customers from these countries.

As always, the safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our utmost priority. We, like the rest of the global travel industry, are closely monitoring all updates and advice issued by the CDC, WHO, international government entities and global airlines. Please consult the list below, which outlines the current travel status of each of our charter destinations for the next 30 days according to the US State Department.

The Moorings Change Policy

Effective immediately, The Moorings is allowing guests with departures within 6 weeks from today’s date to transfer bookings to a new destination or offer alternative dates with no change fee if the US State Department has advised against all but essential travel to your booked destination, or if your destination has implemented a travel ban affecting your charter dates. In this situation, we are actively contacting guests to make other arrangements.

If you are departing outside of 6 weeks from today’s date, or if your charter destination is not yet affected by Coronavirus or if there is no official statement from the US State Department advising against travel to your vacation destination (destinations in Green or Yellow below), our normal cancelation and rebooking policy applies.

Book with confidence, knowing that you have flexibility with The Moorings should the situation change in the coming days. If you have questions, please reach out to your Vacation Planner and we will be happy to assist you.
