Now you can own a luxury Le Boat canal cruiser in Canada, as well as in Europe.
Le Boat already has the largest fleet of self-driving river and canal boats for charter in Europe and Canada. It recently expanded its Boat Ownership Program to American and Canadian clients who want to have their own vessel to cruise on the historic Rideau Canal in Canada, or on any of Le Boat’s eight destinations in Europe, including the Canal du Midi in France, the Thames in England, and Venice in Italy.
“Expanding into North America gives the dream of boat ownership to Canadians and Americans and offers the chance to own a brand-new luxury Horizon Cruiser,” said Lisa Mclean, North American marketing manager for Le Boat. “Our ownership program makes the possibility of owning your own boat simple and worry-free, so you can focus on vacationing on some of the world’s most beautiful waterways.”
The ownership program is aimed at people who want to go boating for more than just a few weeks every year, and who also want to make significant savings on their vacations.
It allows owners to cruise for up to ten weeks a season in Canada and Europe. Owners can have four weeks in Canada and six weeks in Europe to cruise on any Le Boat in the fleet.
Le Boat will charter out a boat when the owner is not using it, paying owners a guaranteed six percent of the purchase price each year. The amount is paid each month, regardless of the boat’s charter activity. Le Boat has a guaranteed buy-back program, paying owners 50 percent of the boat’s initial price after seven years.
Le Boat also covers all the costs of maintenance and repairs, so that owners do not have any operating costs. And the company performs weekly checks to ensure each boat is in clean and safe condition.
