This month, Tiara Yachts of Holland, Michigan, announced the introduction of the all new 56 LS Luxury Sport cruiser with four 600-horsepower Mercury  Verado V-12s on it transom.  The new 56 will join the 43 and 48LS in the builder’s outboard sport line

Weighing in at 39,000 pounds and with a dead rise of 21 degrees in the deep V hull, the new 56 will be both very quick and provide a truly soft ride through chop and larger waves. The addition of an optional SeaKeeper stabilizer will add to that sense of stability.

The 56 is designed for indoor-outdoor living. Down below there are two large cabins with their own heads. The forward cabin has a centerline double berth. The after cabin spans the hull’s full beam and the double berth can either be left as one large bed of it can be split into two single berths.

When underway, the skipper and three passengers can sit in the forward seats where visibility will be great. Electric cassette doors on both sides allow for the free flow of breeze or they can be closed to ward off rain or spray. These provide access to the side decks for docking or heading up to the large bow lounging area.

The L-shaped dinette and small chaise are under the aft end of the hard top so it will be protected from rain and wind. Plus, a sliding glass door can enclose the whole helm and seating area.

The galley is in an island aft of the seating area and has a two-burner induction cook top, three drawer fridge-freezer units, a sink and a storage drawer. All the way aft is the outside dinette where meals will be enjoyed in good weather.

The cockpit’s side bulwarks fold down to create ocean front-balconies on both sides that greatly expand the living area and provide direct access to a dinghy or the water toys that have been brought along.

The new Tiara 56 LS is an impressive-looking design and will be a real head-turner either speeding by or swinging gently on her hook in a picturesque cove. When hull number one has been launched in 2025, we will revisit the design and provide a full and detailed review. Read more.
