The good-looking, space-saving and easy-to-use PureWater+ filtration system just won the Best New Product Award at the Newport International Boat Show. “The Forespar Pure-Water+ has an elegant design,” the judges said. “It has a high value and high utility filtering 250-350 gallons of water per easy-to-access filter. Best of all, it is small and fits anywhere.”
The system is so self-contained that you can change the filter on a countertop through a patented quick connection. It doesn’t require a reservoir apparatus or under-the-counter access as do other plumbed-in water purifiers, while it still offers the full protection of carbon-block filtration. With a quarter-turn of the faucet, the filter lifts out and slips off and is ready for the new carbon filter. The unit comes with a chrome faucet, installation hardware and a 5-micron standard carbon-block filter and a 0.5-micron enhanced filter for added purification.
The Pure-Water+ is Forespar’s entry into the potable water filtration market. “Customer loyalty and trust in our Marelon plumbing systems for non-potable water is extremely solid,” says Forespar president Scott Foresman, “and we felt it was time to migrate that same quality, innovation and trust into water filtration.”
