A new and improved version of the iconic Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island in the Bahamas is being built now, with 6,100 linear feet of deep-water concrete docks and slips for up to 420-foot superyachts. The new marina will be renamed Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina at Paradise Landing. It’s scheduled to open by the end of this year.

Hurricane Hole, within easy walking distance of the Atlantis Resort, has been a favorite destination for yachts cruising in the Bahamas for years. The new marina is designed to offer boat owners even more, including gourmet dining, exclusive retail stores and a new luxury home development.

The marina itself will have concierge services and on-dock delivery from a liquor and wine store. It also will have on-site customs and immigration services, 24-hour security, fuel and pump out facilities, 400- amp and 480-volt power, a laundry, showers and dressing rooms, high-speed internet, a luxury spa, fitness center, swimming pools, crew lounge, private meeting spaces, and charter management services.

On-shore facilities include a gourmet grocery store for provisioning, a dry cleaner, a bank, a medical clinic and pharmacy. The new development also includes the Residences at Paradise Landing, two- and three-bedroom homes with 10-foot-high windows offering marina and water views from every unit.

The Atlantis Resort, a five-minute walk away, has some 40 restaurants and bars, luxury shopping, a waterpark and a casino. Read more:
