12 Best Beaches in the Caribbean Rated by U.S. News & World Report. See If You Agree

Here’s a great list of the 12 best beaches in the Caribbean, at least in the opinion of U.S. News & World Report, which specializes in rating these kinds of things. Not that I’m one to disagree, since I have only been to a few of these; they all look terrific to me. It’s not hard to imagine dropping the hook off any of these beaches and taking the dink in for some exploring and sunning on shore. Many of them also have waterfront bars or other attractions in case the lure of some of the most beautiful sand in the world isn’t enough by itself.

Not to be a spoiler, but the 12 best beaches are to be found on the following:

1.Anguilla, with no fewer than 33 separate beaches, including Rendezvous Bay, pictured above.

2.The British Virgin Islands

3.Turks & Caicos

4.U.S. Virgin Islands

5.Cayman Islands

6.St. Martin

7.Punta Cana, D.R.

8.St. Lucia

9.St. Vincent & The Grenadines

10.St. Barts

11.Antigua

12.St Kitts and Nevis

See the story below for great pictures of all the beaches, plus tips on local attractions once you’re there:
