Now it’s going to be a lot easier to get to your charter in the Bahamas. The Moorings has joined with Tropic Ocean Airways for a new ‘Fly & Sail’ program where charter guests can fly directly to their Bahamas destinations from the Tropic Ocean Airways lounge at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport private FBO, or from the Miami Seaplane Base on Watkins Island. When guests arrive, their Moorings’ power or sail charter yacht will be prepped and ready in the Abacos or the Exumas.

The Moorings is the world’s premiere charter yacht company, and Tropic Ocean Airways is the leading seaplane operator in the eastern U.S. The new program lets charter guests make the best use of their travel time so that their vacation is stress-free and seamless. Staff at the Tropic Ocean Airways lounge will help with everything from valet parking to baggage. And then it’s only a 90-minute flight to The Moorings’ charter base in Nassau or Marsh Harbor.

“The two best ways to see the full natural beauty of the Bahamas are from the air and from the water,” says Rob Ceravolo, CEO of Tropic Ocean Airways. “With the ‘Fly & Sail’ service, guests have the opportunity to experience both.”

Tropic Ocean Airways flights to the Bahamas have seating for up to eight passengers aboard air-conditioned Cessnas with two pilots. You can book a flight by emailing reservations@flytropic.com or by calling 954 210-5569 or 800 767-0897. For more:
