Vicem Yachts is building its new 67 Cruiser, a long-range blue-water voyager, at its yard in Turkey. The cold-molded, three-stateroom, three-head boat is built for ocean cruising and will be unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show starting next October 30.

The 67 is Vicem’s latest addition to its Cruising line, now stretching from 67 to 107 feet. These models are made for comfortable cruising or living aboard. Powered by twin 600-hp Volvos with straight shafts, the 67 is expected to have a top speed of 20 to 22 knots, and a cruising speed of 16 to 18 knots. At 16 knots, it will have a range of 800 nm, but dialed back to 8 knots the range expands to 2,200 nm.

The new Vicem will be laid up with cold-molded mahogany with West System epoxy for a strong, quiet and lightweight hull. The interior is finished with Vicem’s old-world craftmanship, using book-matched veneers. Even the heads have wood-framed tempered glass shower doors and quartz counters.

You can board the yacht from the swim platform, and climb up three steps on either side of the transom to the aft deck, which is protected by an overhang from the flybridge. It has a wide transom settee and a beautiful wooden table seating eight for al fresco dining and entertaining. A three-part stainless steel and glass sliding door opens to the salon.

In the salon, large settees face each other on the port and starboard sides. The helm is part of the social area there, and it has a side door opening to the starboard deck. A formal dining area to port can seat six; the galley, to starboard, can be open or closed off. And the main deck has a day head.

Below, there are two master staterooms, one forward and one amidships, with king-sized beds. A large guest stateroom with a double bed is on the starboard side. All the staterooms have en suite heads. Quarters for two crew are aft, with its own head and separate shower, galley and laundry.

Specs.: LOA: 70’0”; Beam: 18’1”; Draft: 5’4”; Disp.: NA; Fuel: 2,500 gals.; Water: 300 gals.; Power: 2×600-hp Volvo D8s.
