Greenline, the innovative hybrid cruising boat company in Slovenia, will launch its new 45 Fly in the U.S. at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, starting Oct. 30. The Greenline 45 Fly comes with the company’s H-drive hybrid technology so you can choose to cruise at 6 knots under electric power or up to 30 knots with Volvo IPS diesels and pod drives.
The 45 Fly is the latest addition to the Greenline fleet, which now runs from 33 to 96 feet. And it comes with several power options, including twin Yanmar or Volvo 220-, 320- or 370-hp diesels with shaft drives, or Volvo IPS500 or IPS600 pod drives. Under electric power, the boat has a range of 30 nm at 5 knots. Top speed with 370-hp diesels and shaft drives is 25 knots.
All the way aft, the hydraulic swim platform provides immediate access to the water, while a lid in the transom lifts to reveal an outdoor kitchen of sorts, including a wet bar, barbeque, sink and work area, all covered by LED lighting for evening enjoyment.
The cockpit has a large settee aft, while the salon features an aft galley with a full-size fridge/freezer unit, an induction oven and a microwave. A large U-shaped settee with a table is forward on the port side, with two seats to starboard. The helm station has a two-person bench seat, and a door opening to the starboard side deck to make docking and line handling easy.
Below, the owner’s stateroom is full beam amidships, with a walkaround king-size bed, large wardrobe, and en suite head and shower. The VIP stateroom in the bow has an island queen-size bed, also with an en suite head and shower.
The flybridge is unusually large and is full beam, providing overhead cover for the side decks and the cockpit. It has a lounge, sunbathing area, a two-person bench settee and an upper helm station, plus a wet bar. An optional T-top provides three times the capacity of the boat’s solar panels. A sunpad is on the foredeck.
