The Palm Beach International Boat Show opens next Thursday, March 25, and runs for four days. Since there was no Miami show this year, there’s a lot of  pent-up demand that most likely will be on display in Palm Beach next week; also on display will be lot of our favorite cruising boats from the U.S. and around the world. Here’s the story from The Palm Beach Post

The 35th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show is sailing back into West Palm Beach Thursday, March 25, through Sunday, March 28, with fun and interactive activities for the entire family! Taking place along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island, the show will feature more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables to super yachts nearly 200 feet in length.

In addition to the large selection of boats and exhibits, the show will offer fun and educational activities, including the “AquaZone” by Nautical Ventures. This attraction will include demos all day featuring the latest in water sports.

Also, the Kid’s Fishing Clinics by Hook the Future are open to all kids ages 4-16 and feature marine life experts teaching kids basic fishing techniques.

For attendees looking for a quiet and exclusive experience, the VIP Windward Club offers the perfect oasis in the heart of the show’s facilities, complete with access to early entry for a sneak peek before doors open.

Other attractions include live music and refreshments at the show’s famous floating cocktail lounges. Guests are invited to come by boat and may tie up to free docks located south of the in-water boat displays.

Following is a detailed roundup of the activities in store for attendees of this year’s Show:

A “show within a show,” the AquaZone, presented by Informa U.S. Boat Shows and Nautical Ventures Marine Superstore, is an exciting and engaging attraction designed to give show-goers an upfront and personal experience with a variety of water sports and innovative products. The AquaZone’s open-area location on the Intracoastal Waterway will allow product demonstrations to reach higher speeds and go for longer distances. Located on the south end of the show, it will feature in-water demos. The area also will serve as a one-stop learning center for water sports and product information.
