There’s a new player in the luxury cruising power catamaran market. StellarPM, a Fort-Lauderdale-based specialist in yacht project management and construction, just announced that it’s building a new three-deck, 82-foot, all-aluminum StellarCAT with simply enormous living and entertaining spaces.

Designed for serious ocean-crossing cruising, the StellarCAT AL25-3 has an enclosed upper deck, a skylounge aft of the wheelhouse that can be opened or closed, a master suite on the upper deck with its own veranda, and as many as six staterooms for guests and two for crew.

Working with shipyards around the world, StellarPM has already designed a 68-foot power cat and a two-deck 82-foot power cat. The new tri-deck 82, the company’s flagship, will be built using the highest-grade of marine aluminum to ABS rules. The company says it works with aluminum because it makes customization possible, it’s strong, it’s watertight and it does not suffer from delamination or blistering.

The AL25-3 offers large living spaces because of its 38-foot beam. The main deck is dominated by a salon filled with natural light. It has high ceilings and can be customized to fit each owner’s requirements.

The open aft deck features a dining table that can seat 12, lounge seating and a wet bar, all over a tender garage and hydraulic swim platform. The foredeck has a four-person Jacuzzi and sun lounges. And the flybridge has a full wet bar and grill, in addition to lounging and relaxing areas.

Standard power comes from twin 800-hp Volvo IPS1050 pod drives, producing a top speed of 19 knots and a range of 2,400 nm.
