The new sturdy and lightweight Highfield Classic 360 RIB with a GT Console would make a great companion on the Great Loop, your next cruising vacation, or just for running around your favorite harbor or anchorage.

The new Highfield has an aluminum hull, with a 15-degree deadrise and a full-length keelguard for protection if you’re running up on a beach or sandbar. The boat itself is just 11’ 10” long, and weighs 285 pounds.

Highfield recommends that you use a 25-hp outboard on the 360GT (although you can go up to a 30-hp model). A 25-hp Yamaha weighs 126 pounds, and a 25-hp Mercury, 157 pounds. Either way, you end up with a sportboat RIB or tender behind your yacht that is easy to launch, retrieve and tow.

The boat can carry six people, or a maximum load of 1,237 pounds. The beam is 5’ 7” and it has three air chambers. It’s made with ORCA Hypalon tubes with welded seams.

A six-gallon fuel tank fits in the bow locker. There’s also a seat up there, and a two-person seat in back behind the fiberglass console. The console has room for a 5-inch chart plotter. The new Highfield has a self-draining cockpit and a raised deck to keep your feet, and your gear, dry.

Davit lifting eyes are welded into the deck for launching or towing. The boat has lifting points and towing eyes and two bridle points. You can order it in white, black, light gray, or dark gray colors.

Highfield has been making aluminum-hulled RIBs in China since 2011. They are now sold in 38 countries around the world. Read more:
