Wally Launching Revamped 58 Power

Wally is introducing its revamped power lineup with the new cutting-edge Wallypower 58. The long, low, slender Wallypower 58 will have its world debut at the Venice show, starting May 28.

Wally was founded in Monaco in 1994 by Luca Bassani, who launched an iconic line of sail and power boats that won worldwide acclaim for their looks and performance. Indeed, Wally is the only yacht builder to win the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award (twice) for quality and design. The worldwide Ferretti Group bought Wally in 2019.

The new Wallypower 58 is the first yacht in a reimagined lineup for the brand under the Ferretti marque. It has a knife-edge bow and its pure lines are not interrupted by any hull windows. Light comes in to the lower salon and accommodations area via a large deck hatch. The dynamic, curved glass windshield is not interrupted by any pillars.

The boat’s powered by three Volvo Penta IPS drives; we don’t know which ones, but the company says it has a top speed of 38 knots and a range of 300 nm based on an “ultra-deep-V hull” with double chines. It does have Volvo’s joystick controls, dynamic positioning, and assisted docking features.

Folding terrace “wings” fold out from the bulwarks in the aft deck to increase the useable space there, and the adjustable sun pad is large enough to hold four adults. The teak swim platform can be raised or lowered with hydraulic controls; it has steps that extend into the water. And the new Wally has a passerelle.

A full-beam salon is below, leading to an owner’s suite in the bow with an en suite head.  Owners can choose an optional smaller salon with a second cabin or crew area with a second head.

The new Wallypower 58 has an LOA of 56’ 7” and a beam of 16’ 5”. We don’t have any more details right now. Read more at http://wally.com and see the video below:
