Horizon Power Catamarans just unveiled plans for a new Horizon PC68, a four-stateroom, four-head cruiser with an open salon, an innovative Portuguese bridge deck, and various options for its massive flybridge up top.

Horizon says it’s celebrating a record-breaking year, reaching a milestone of 50 boats sold. The 68 will be the newest of the company’s range of power cats that now has a PC52, PC60 and a flagship PC74.

Horizon is offering buyers several options for the PC68, all taking advantage of the big cat’s 24’ 6” beam. Up top, the company offers an option of an open bridge or an enclosed skylounge. Either way, the extended boat deck aft has room for a 17-foot, 100-hp tender.

The basic flybridge includes lots of room for seating and lounging, and includes a day head with a shower (an unusual luxury up there), a grill, a freezer chest, and a bar on the port side with fridge doors and an icemaker. Forward of the helm, a raised hatch and door provide access to seating with high-low tables on the Portuguese bridge.

On the main deck, owners can choose either an open-plan salon or one with the master stateroom with wraparound windows all the way forward. The large master head includes dual wash basins. In that option, the salon, galley and large island bar are aft.

In the open-salon plan, that forward space becomes an entertainment center with more seating and lounging space, and all four staterooms, with en suite heads, are in the twin hulls below. Two king-size staterooms are forward in the hulls, with two convertible twin- or king-sized cabins aft on each side.

The Horizon PC68 is designed for easy movement, with wide side decks leading forward. Aft, the cockpit is protected by the long overhang of the boat deck above, and it offers a variety of seating configurations, as well as walkways to the high-low swim platform.

This latest Horizon power cat is scheduled to make its U.S. debut next March at the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Read more at http://horizonpowercatamarans.com and see the video below:
