Invictus Yachts just announced that it will debut its new GT320S twin-outboard cruiser at the Cannes Yachting Festival, starting Sept. 6.

Standard power on this latest Invictus comes from twin 300-hp Yamaha outboards, but the boat can support outboards up to a total of 900 hp. The GT320S is the Italian builder’s fourth outboard boat, reflecting the growing popularity of outboard propulsion.

“The outboard configuration strongly expresses and states the character and soul of the owner who chooses it,” said Christian Grande, who has designed everything from luxury cars to superyachts and is Invictus’ principal designer.

The interior of the new GT320s is the same as the interior of the sterndrive version, but the area that was the engine room is now a large living area. A long settee is on the starboard side of the cockpit and another is across the transom. An opening side gate is on the port side for easy access to a dock.

The helm console has two seats, and there’s another large seating area on the foredeck for sunning or relaxing.

Down two steps, the cabin has a head on the starboard side and a hanging locker to port. Forward is a large dinette area with lounge seating that can be converted to a bed. A large twin bed is tucked under the helm a bit aft.

The boat comes with a Bimini that can be raised automatically. A carbon-fiber hard top with integrated lights is optional.

The GT320S is available in 11 color combinations and four types of deck upholstery. For owners who want further customization, the company has an Atelier Invictus program that works with a network of craftsmen and luxury suppliers.

The boat is 32’ 5” long with a 9’ 9” beam and a displacement of 12,566 pounds.
