The Sirena 68 brings together all the qualities that experienced cruisers would seek in a new yacht—essentially an upgrade in comfort and confidence in all areas. The new 68 is built on a hull that marries efficiency and performance seamlessly—it’s a semidisplacement design with a keel in the central bottom and chines on the sides. The hull shape encapsulates a cavernous volume of space, allowing everyone onboard to spread out and get comfortable, but still be together. The interior is a special kind of intersection where craftsmanship meets utility, elevating every aspect of the space to make it feel welcoming, comfortable, and human size.

The vibe of the Sirena 68 starts with the details. When each person steps aboard, their eyes come to rest on a facet or a fabric, an accent or an angle, some hint that lets them know they’re welcome in a way that is simultaneously familiar and new.

Those entering from the aft deck discover a saloon where they encounter a dining area and open-concept galley. One will notice the play of light in this expansive space, as enormous panes of glass line the perimeter, drawing the eye to ever-changing views. Recessed overhead LED lighting provides adjustable, indirect illumination of the dining table and open-plan galley, where the chef can cook and serve while being included in the party. The galley has a full-size refrigerator and overhead lockers in addition to under-counter lockers for stowing food, crockery, and cooking tools, but is designed to minimize impact on lines of sight from all vantage points.

Forward of the galley is a large U-shaped settee, three meters long, where even a large party of family and friends can congregate, positioned so they can share their time aboard with the helmsman, positioned just forward. Outside the saloon, the side decks have large cutaway sections of the bulwarks, improving the lines of site for those inside.

Belowdecks the finish level of the main saloon is continued throughout the space, with a standard layout that offers three staterooms, plus a lounge area and a laundry area to make extended cruising more pleasant.

Optional layouts include an amidships master stretches across the full beam, where a king-size berth welcomes the owner, and seems to float thanks to inventive lighting design. In this stateroom, large hullside windows admit natural light and provide views of the water’s surface. This stateroom is served by a his-and-hers head arrangement, with separate head areas and a common shower, which affords a high level of luxury, similar to designs popularized by numerous megayachts.

Other accommodations options are available, including a fourth stateroom outfitted with a single berth or bunks, offering flexibility to entertain even more family or friends. Still other layout options, each with three staterooms, add a utility room and day head or a laundry room and dayhead. All layouts are finished with delightful combinations of fabric, lacquer, and wood grain providing clean finishes, while lighting design and hullside windows work in tandem to exhibit an airy and spacious feel.

The interior of the 68 is offered with three available moodboard concepts, each using an accent color to tie together the trim choices throughout the living space. A light version is designed to be an inspiration to all who come aboard, with a cool, clean design evoking a blank canvas. The warm version invokes serenity, with a combination of hues that sets one’s mind at ease. A third concept is dark, eliciting elegance with lush tones and rich wood accents.

The Sirena 68 reveals our intimate knowledge on the way cruisers really use their boats. The flying bridge layout, for instance, has more useful space and two separate, comfortable seating areas and a generously sized wet bar, all of which can be under cover of an optional, substantial hardtop. An open area at the aft end ensures space for sunning and enjoyment of the view, and there’s an option for a bar to be located there as well.

The aft deck offers a built-in transom settee with fixed table for a group to gather and enjoy superb views, all sheltered by the flying-bridge overhang. Gain access to the bow area along wide side decks, and once forward, another seating area with fixed table and also a cushioned sunpad welcome entertaining opportunities enrobed with alfresco breezes at anchor.

Another factor that sets the Sirena 68 apart is an expanded crew’s quarters layout that provides comfort for the crew to spread out. Experienced yachtsmen know a happy crew can make a big difference in the experience for all of those aboard, and the design of this space will contribute to the crew’s good attitude.
Like all Sirena’s, the 68 incorporates the innovative German Frers hull design which delivers world-class range by allowing displacement speeds for extended cruising, but with a higher top end for faster cruising when desired.
