Pardo Yachts is unveiling its new Endurance 60 long-range cruiser at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this week.

The new Pardo, with its slightly reversed bow, raked windshield, tinted wrap-around salon windows and barely visible flybridge is certainly eye catching, but it’s also an efficient and comfortable cruiser. It features teak walkaround decks with high bulwarks, and two terraces that fold out from the aft deck.

Standard power is twin 550-hp Volvo IPS700 pod drives, which give it a 12-knot cruising speed and deliver a range approaching 1,000 nm. Optional 600-hp Volvo IPS800s take the top speed up to the mid-20-knot range.

The galley is aft in the salon, with windows opening to the aft deck. The dinette and salon lounging area are forward so guests can enjoy the panoramic views. A door opens from the helm to the starboard side deck.

The foredeck has a large seat under the windshield, while the aft deck has another large seating and social area, particularly when the side terraces are deployed. The flybridge has an upper helm plus sun lounges, a sofa and a fridge.

Below, the master stateroom is full-beam amidships with a king-sized bed, dressing area, sofa and large wardrobes. The VIP cabin is forward with a double berth; another guest cabin is on the port side with a twin berth. All the cabins have en suite heads and showers.

Built in Italy, Pardo has built more than 100 other cruising boats in the past three years. It is owned by Grand Soleil, which has built more than 4,000 sailboats since it was started in 1973.

Specs.: LOA: 59’3”; Beam: 16’8”; Draft: 4’6”; Disp.: 76,500 lbs.; Fuel: 634 gals.; Water: 184 gals. Power: 2×550-hp Volvo IPS700 pod drives.
