VisionF Yachts, the relatively new Turkish builder, just announced that they’re working on a new VisionF60 catamaran, designed in house and built of fiberglass. VisionF was started in 2019 and launched its first boat, the VisionF 80 cat, in November, 2020 with an aluminum hull.

The new 60 has the same clean, sporty lines as the original, and carries its 33-foot beam all the way from the bow to the stern, creating supersized living and entertaining spaces on the main deck and even up on the flybridge. The company says the 60 has a draft of just 2’ 1”, fully loaded, so the cat will be able to cruise through thin water anywhere in the world.

Standard power comes from twin 360-hp Volvo Penta IPS600 pod drives, giving the cat fingertip control around the docks and superior fuel efficiency underway. Solar panels are offered as options for the roof of the deckhouse; they can provide renewable energy for house loads. Battery banks will have an integrated electrical management system to work with the solar panels.

You can access the flybridge from the cat’s aft deck. The company offers a long list of options for the sun deck there, making it a major lounging and entertaining center.

On the main deck, wide side decks lead to the foredeck with a lounge, dinette and sun bathing areas. You can also access the foredeck via a door that’s integrated into the windshield next to the helm station on the main deck.

The aft deck is designed for al fresco dining. A high-low platform all the way aft is large enough to launch a tender or serve as a swimming and water-sports center.

The accommodations areas in the two hulls can be customized to hold a variety of cabins or the galley. “Clients can choose between having the galley on the main deck or in one of the  hulls, and from multiple accommodations options, including three or four double cabins (including a spacious master stateroom) with two doubles and a kid’s cabin, or a guest can be used as a gym,” said Coskun Bayraktar, VisionF Yachts’ founder.

The 60’s interior and exterior lines were drawn by in-house designers at the company’s yard in Istanbul. Work will start on the new 60 early next year. Read more: http://visionf.com
