Sunseeker, the upscale British builder, will hold the world debut for its two new cruising boats, the Superhawk 55 and the 75 Sport Yacht, at the big Düsseldorf show, starting Jan. 21.

Andrea Frabetti, the CEO of Sunseeker International, said the two new models “will be the crown jewel of our impressive lineup of stunning yachts.”

With its low profile and aggressive lines, the Superhawk 55 (pictured at top) is the first new Superhawk that Sunseeker has launched since 2008, and is the latest in its Performance range. Powered by twin 725-hp Volvo IPS950 pod drives, it offers a combination of sporty handling and blue-water performance. Top speed is 38 knots.

The new Superhawk has an all-new composite hull, lots of stainless steel detailing, and expansive glazing in its front windshield and side windows, as well as in the long slash of windows that welcomes lots of natural light to the lower accommodations deck.

The helm seat is centered, and flanked by two companion seats. The salon has an open plan, while pantograph doors open to the port and starboard side decks. The foredeck has a full-length sun pad and slides forward to reveal a table and seating area.

Another sun pad, a large one, dominates the cockpit aft, which also has a wet bar and a high-low TV. The garage  under the sun pad is large enough to hold a 10’ 9” Williams 325 TurboJet tender.

Two cabins and two heads are below.

For its part, the 75 Sport Yacht (pictured above) comes with three or four cabins, and two or three heads, with power from twin MAN V12 1,550-hp or 1,900-hp diesels. With the larger engines, top speed is 40 knots, and the range is 900 nm.

The 75 Sport Yacht has a customizable interior with exquisite woods and rich lacquers. You can order the hull in four shades of grey.

The foredeck has seating for six, a table and a built-in fridge. There’s another large sun pad on the aft deck; the garage under it can hold a 12-foot Williams 395 jet tender.

Seating in the salon is centered around a fold-out table on the starboard side. The helm is just forward of a U-shaped sofa. The flybridge has an upper helm, with seating on the starboard side, a chaise lounge sun pad, and a wet bar.

Below, a full-beam master amidships is equipped with a dressing table, a chaise lounge and a large wardrobe. The guest cabins have en suite heads. A fourth cabin can replace the lower galley and dining area.
