Argos Nautic GT14: High-Style RIB

Argos Nautic has launched its new Italian-styled GT14 luxury RIB tender, designed by Patrizio Facheris.

Argos Nautics are built in South Florida, and have a showroom in Miami. Facheris Design is in North Miami Beach, and is known for its prize-winning superyachts, although it also has designed some production boats, most recently the Cruisers Cantius line.

With its distinct European look, the new Argos Nautic GT14 is meant to offer a balance of comfort and performance, with the extra appeal of easy maintenance. Standard power is a 50-hp outboard, with a top speed of 26 knots. An optional 70-hp outboard boosts the top speed to 31 knots.

With its engine and all other equipment, the 13’ 10” GT14 weighs 925 pounds, meaning it can fit on and be launched from most boats in the 70-foot range. It also, of course, can serve as a sport boat or second boat on its own.

The GT14 is basically a center console RIB, with a standard five-passenger layout. But buyers can add a custom seat at the front of the helm and bench seating to the port side of the console, so the boat can hold seven.

The beam is 6’ 10” (interior beam is 4’ 5”) and the gas tank holds 16 gallons. Prices start at $26,400. Read more:
