Jeanneau To Debut New Family Cruiser in Miami

Jeanneau will introduce its all-new 30-foot NC 895 Series Two family weekend cruiser at the Miami International Boat Show in February.

The NC 895 has two cabins and one head below. And it cruises at 20 knots, with power coming from twin 250-hp outboards. They make driving fun and maneuvering easy. The new Jeanneau is meant to be a safe, comfortable, versatile boat. There’s little maintenance involved; it’s the kind of boat that you can wash and put away.

Jeanneau, part of the giant French Beneteau Group, has designed the NC 895 with a slash of windows running along the hull sides, giving the boat a contemporary look. The railings are high on the sides and going forward for safety, and the helm deck is filled with natural light from windows all around and from an opening sun roof overhead.

The aft cockpit is modular, with basic seating across the transom and on the port side, all around a small table. Sliding glass doors lead to the salon, with seating and a dinette table on the port side (this area can be converted in to a sleeping space for two people at night) and a galley to starboard. The single helm chair is forward to starboard.

The foredeck has two large sun pads, separated by a table. On the lower accommodations deck, the main cabin is forward with a bed for two. The head and shower are on the starboard side. A second sleeping (or extra storage) area is tucked under the helm.
