The Enata Group just unveiled its sleek new 32-foot luxury foiling boat Vatoz that can hit a top speed of 40 knots when it flies almost 5 feet above the water.

The Vatoz uses two 370-hp diesels and “torpedo” drives for hydrostatic propulsion. The Vatoz foils, or flies, at 18 knots. It has a range of 190 nm at 20 knots and 150 nm at 30 knots.

Enata is an international manufacturing company with headquarters in Dubai, and it uses its proprietary Wingman management system to operate the foils and “wings” on the Vatoz’ hull sides. The side wings provide access to the bow, and help keep waves from reaching the cabin.

Timur Bozca designed the Vatoz for Enata. “The main idea behind the Vatoz is to maximize dynamics inspired by the stingray,” he said. “Beneath the clean surfaces and curved lines lies an aerodynamic masterpiece.” Vatoz is the Turkish word for stingray.

The company says the foils provide stability and grip the water even in a fast turn. Driving is easy. You deploy the foils by pressing the “fly mode” button and you return to a traditional boat operation by pressing the “float mode” button. The Vatoz’ beam is 11 feet in displacement mode, but it has a “wingspan” of 23’ 6” when foiling.

The new Vatoz has a carbon fiber hull with seats for four up top. The luxurious cabin below is filled with natural light from tinted windows on three sides and a skylight. It has a berth for overnighting and a head.
