Cruisers Yachts Plans New Flybridge Series

Cruisers Yachts just announced that they’re planning an all-new Flybridge series, an evolution of their popular Cantius line.

The new Flybridge line will have three yachts, starting with  55 Fly. Cruisers says the 55 will incorporate new technology and will have a sleek exterior look, resembling a spaceship on the water. The look, the company says, was inspired by marine predators.

The 55 Fly will be a new boat from the keel up. The interior was designed by Luiz De Basto of De Basto Designs in Miami; he usually works on superyachts. The new boat’s design theme, the company says, is “back to nature in a tech world,” and it uses lots of earth and ocean tones and natural fibers. All the living spaces will be flooded with natural light.

Josh Delforge, the Cruisers’ VP of engineering, says, “We set out to create a ‘Super Fly’ – a yacht that exceeds all expectation of Cruisers flybridges in the past.” The new 55, he says, will have a superior flybridge entertaining space, cruising comfort, and a fresh interior design “all wrapped in a futuristic evolution of the Cantius DNA.”

The first 55 Fly will be launched next spring, and the next model in 2025. We don’t have any more details at this time.

Based in Oconto, Wisconsin, Cruisers Yachts has a proud history going back more than 70 years. In April, 2021, Cruisers bought the Carver and Marquis plant in nearby Pulaski and a month later MarineMax bought Cruisers.
