You may not know you need this, but the new AquaDart Pro 770 Xtreme dive scooter seems like a toy that’s just waiting to be used. The AquaDart’s builder, iAqua, says the 770 is the most powerful sea scooter in the world, and is so powerful that it can pull two boats full of passengers.

More specifically, it produces more than 52 kW of power and has a thrust of 770 Newtons, so it actually can move a lot. It’s also fast, reaching a top speed of 15 mph in just three seconds; that would be fun indeed. The Chinese manufacturer says that “no other professional dive scooter comes close to matching the power and performance” of the 770 Xtreme.

The 770 Xtreme has a running time of 90 to 140 minutes, meaning scuba divers can dive for about two hours on one tank of air. For underwater work, its starting depth is 5 meters; after that, divers can continue in increments of 5 meters to a maximum of 45 meters, when the motor will stop.

The 770 has a carbon fiber body for light weight and strength. It requires minimal maintenance and it has advanced safety features and intelligent battery management. It has a high-definition, liquid-crystal display, and two buttons with two triggers on the hand grips control seven different power levels. For safety, if one hand leaves the grip, the scooter will stop. Powerful 1,700 lumen headlights provide long-range vision underwater, as well as visibility to the mothership when the scooter surfaces.

The new AquaDart is efficient. Water travels through the under-water duct, moving from suction to propulsion. At the same time, the anti-cavitation prop pushes a massive volume of water to provide thrust, with little or no accompanying noise or vibration.

The AquaDart 770 Xtreme costs $15,490.
