Hinckley Yachts, builders of the classic Downeast-style picnic boats, sport boats and Talaria Yachts, announced last week that the company had become a certified Mercury Marine outboard dealer. The dealership will be based in Hinckley’s large boatyard and marine facility in Stuart, Florida.
The move to become a Mercury dealer underscore Hinckley’s commitment to providing top service to their outboard owners as well as to the wider market of discerning boat owners who make the Stuart facility their homebase for all marine sales, service and repairs.
“As a company known for meticulous attention to detail and world-class service, becoming a Mercury Marine Certified Dealer in Stuart allows us to elevate our in-season support for outboard customers,” said Mike Arieta, COO of Hinckley Yachts. “This capability not only enhances our service for Hinckley owners but also positions us as the go-to resource for all boat owners who value precision and excellence in their boating experience. It’s a key step in our strategy to bring Hinckley’s legendary service to an even wider audience.”
Outboard-powered boats of all sizes have increased in the dayboat and cruiser markets significantly in the past few years and Hinckley has adopted outboard power on their Sport 40 c and 40 x.
The Stuart facility on Florida’s east coast is uniquely positioned to service and repower boats all along the coast and beyond. This will enable the company to expand it’s service foot print and attract a broad spectrum of new customers.
Hinckley is famous for the quality of the service provided by their veteran yard managers and marine service professionals. The quality that goes into every new Hinckley, which is legendary, also goes into every marine service project. Read more here.
