The lines of the new Sataservera 42 Sport, likes those of her 36 and 52-foot sisterships, are aggressive and modern yet somehow evoke the purposeful look of a traditional Mediterranean, plumb-bowed lobster boat. That is by intent since the designers started with a lobster boat in mind and then let their design imaginations run wild.
Everything about the 42 Sport coupe could be called shapely. The hull is full forward a quite rounded sections. These are then given faux lapstrakes that give dimension to the high sides. The sheer has a slight reverse curve that melds very neatly with the sharply raked cabin and windscreen. The black cabin gives the boat a stealthy feel.

The new 42 Sport is a couple’s cruiser and a family day sport boat that is well suited to Med boating and cruising with is large sun beds, forward lounge and an ope- air salon with a good galley and a dinette that will seat four or five.
Sun, swimming, wine and cheese with family and friends around, now that’s Italian. Plus, the 42 Sport has a tidy cabin with a queen-size berth and a full head for a couple to stay over for a night or two of cruising.

Powered by twin Volvo D4 stern drives rated at 320-horsepower each, the 42 will have a good turn of speed that we estimate to be in the mid-40-knot range and with a cruising speed of around 25 knots.
The Satasevera line includes eight models in sport, hardtop and open configurations. Built in eastern Italy, the company is represented in the U.S. by Santasevera USA in Sag Harbor, New York and Miami, Florida.
