Absolute Unveils New Navetta 53

Absolute just unveiled its new Navetta 53, a high-end motoryacht with the Italian builder’s signature profile and extensive glazing. This latest Navetta will make its U.S. debut at the Miami show in February. A three-stateroom, two-head cruiser, the Navetta 53 is powered by twin 480-hp IPS650 pod drives. Volvo’s fingertip joystick control will make docking easy, and a door next to the lower helm on the starboard side of the salon means the captain can step out to help with the lines. See Winners of European Power Boat Awards

The winners of the European Power Boat of the Year awards were just announced, chosen by the editors of eight leading boating magazines across the continent. The awards this year were in five categories, organized by size, plus one innovation award and one special mention. The annual awards are usually given at a banquet at the big Düsseldorf show, but that was cancelled this year because of the pandemic. The awards were announced digitally from Hamburg.
