In June, Larry McCullough and his wife, Jamie, shipped their Nordhavn 59, Independence, from North Palm Beach, Florida, to La Paz, Mexico, and McCullough made a first-rate video of the entire experience.
He calls it the good, the bad, and the ugly. It deals with the entire experience, including dealing with brokers, preparing the boat for shipment, and the condition of the boat once it arrived in La Paz. He told me he hoped that other owners could learn from his experience.
The McCulloughs are experienced boat owners, and they bought Independence, hull number one of the Nordhavn 59 Coastal Pilot line, in the summer of 2018. They did the Great Loop, and are now enjoying cruising in Mexico. Here’s the video:
