A Look Back at Miami: Let’s Hear It for the NMMA and Virginia Key I haven’t seen such an upbeat boat show in many years – probably before 2008, in fact. Report from Miami: A Great Opening Day Jeff Druek, the president of Outer Reef Yachts, didn’t make it to the opening day of the Miami boat show this year, although a lot of other people did. The big yacht show along Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, which has been free for years, now will charge $20 admission, and it will have both new boat and brokerage boat sections.
