Arcadia Building New A96 Cruiser

Arcadia Yachts just announced that it’s starting a new “A” series of motor yachts, ranging from 65 to 130 feet. The first model, now under construction, is the A96, a long-range cruiser with five staterooms and an unusual number of large, sliding transparent doors and windows to let in air and light and connect with the world outside. Technohull Building 2,250-hp Luxury RIB

Technohull just unveiled its new Omega 48 RIB, a luxury beast that can hold up to five 450-hp outboards. The Greek builder says the Omega 48 offers a fresh perspective on RIB performance, and that its ventilated deep-V hull design will provide a comfortable ride even in rough sea conditions. Princess Yachts, the upscale British builder, announced that they’re expanding their Y Class range with a new Y85 flagship that will be launched next year. The all-new, contemporary styled Y85 was a joint product of the naval architect firm Olesinski and the Italian design house Pininfarina. The Nordhavn 80, designed as an owner-operator, ocean-crossing cruising yacht, has just been nominated for two prizes in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2023. There’s a moral here for all of us. The Coast Guard just issued its report about the grounding of the 1,095-foot-long Ever Forward in the Chesapeake last March, and it’s devastating.
